1) I have been fasting from the news, mostly to guard my inner peace and nervous system, but the news of the murder of Renee Good found me anyway. I have good friends who live in Minneapolis, and this could have easily been them. In truth, it could have been me too. But how do I respond to this? I don’t want to add to the fear, anger and despair already present. That is when a miracle happened.
2) Like a lightning bolt in my mind, Mary Magdalene made her presence known to me. It was then that I realized that HER energy was the one to follow during this dark time. Mary Magdalene witnessed the worst of the worst, a heartbreaking nightmare that none of us can imagine enduring…and yet she still showed up on Easter morning, willing to do whatever she could. THAT is the energy to follow this year.
