Did your parents teach you how to live your life purpose? For most of us, the answer is no.
That is why I am so grateful for the two life lessons my father and mother taught me, as they have inspired me to say yes to my purpose.
My father passed away when I was just three years old. I don’t have any conscious memories of him, and yet the life lesson he taught me has guided me my whole life.
My mom lived another twenty-five years after my father passed, and watching the choices she made, and those she did not make, has also guided and shaped how I am following my purpose.

2. My father waited until he was thirty to get married. He poured his heart into his printing business. But then he got sick, and he passed away at just forty-one years old. The big lesson my dad taught me was “No one is guaranteed time.” My mom, on the other hand, lived another twenty-five years after my dad passed, but she wasn’t happy. She never recovered from this loss, never acted on her dreams, and time kept passing. She taught me that “Time does not guarantee happiness.”
3. Women tend to put off their dreams to prioritize the needs of others. Years often pass without taking action on her own dreams. But the last thing you want to do is to create a habit of NOT living your purpose, or writing your book, or starting whatever it is you want to start!
